1、Cleaning the print head

A、On Ready status

◆       Press the Menu button on the control panel.

◆       Press the Selection button to select item General on the Cleaning menu and press Enter button to confirm it.

◆       Make a nozzle test to check the result of cleaning. If the print quality does not improve, clean the print head once more or choose a higher cleaning mode.

B、In Printing

◆       Press the Pause button on the control panel to stop the printing and enter cleaning. Print head go back to original position and then you can choose clean or go back printing. The control panel shows as

A、If Select Cleaning the machine take general cleaning. After cleaning,         the machine continues engraving automatically.

B、If select Continue the Print head will go back engraving.

2、Cleaning of the engraver

◆       Make sure the engraver is power off and unplug the power cable.

◆       Remove all of the screen or paper from the roller before cleaning.

◆       Use a soft brush to clean dust and rubbish from engraver carefully.

◆       If the desktop, shell or roller is dirty, use a soft cloth with some cleanser to rub it. Be careful don't drop the water on the print head.

◆       If the ink bespatter on the roller or desktop, use a wet cloth to clean it.

◆       If the dust in corner you can’t reach it, you can use the vacuum cleaner.

3、Notice

◆       Do not use alcohol or solvent to clean the engraver. These chemicals will demolish the components and shell of the engraver.

◆       Do not touch the machine rigging in engraver to prevent wounded.

◆       Do not drops the machine parts or electric components.

◆       Do not use hard brushes or brushes which can demolish the engraver to clean it.

◆       Do not try to clean the print head’s surface with anything. It only can be cleaned by cleaning program.

◆       Do not touch the grating, it will damage the grating or affect the print quality.

4、Maintenance

◆       Smear little No.10 lubricating oil to the slick rod every week. But too much will drop on the screen.

◆       Keep the machine clean, eliminate the dust and rubbish from the machine in time.

◆       Keep the machine dry, eliminate the water and liquid from the machine in time.

◆       Do not press or put anything on the beam that will elongate grating affect print quality.

◆       Make nozzles test before engraving. If the result is not good please make print head cleaning.

◆       Take level test after the print head’s position changed . Nozzles not on level will cause the image zigzag.

◆       Print head must be stay in cleaning station except for engraving, do not open it in the air.

◆       Doesn’t need clean the print head everyday if the test result is OK. Put some special cleanser in cupule to prevent the nozzles block if the machine will idle few days.
